What are the minimum and recommended specs?

The two columns are close. The recommended setup keeps the same processor and asks for Windows 11, twice the memory and a graphics card above the minimum pair. Both require a 64-bit processor and operating system.

Can a GTX 1050 or an older PC run Light Work?

A GeForce GTX 1050 is exactly the minimum card on the listing, alongside the Radeon RX 560, so it is supported at the entry level.

The listing names a dedicated graphics card, the Radeon RX 560 or GeForce GTX 1050, as the minimum. A PC that relies on integrated graphics alone falls outside what the developer lists, and so does a 32-bit version of Windows.

The developer has not published frame-rate targets, so the listing tells you what the game needs, not how smoothly it runs on a given machine. It is free, so the quickest test is to install it; the listing asks for 500 MB of space.

Is Light Work on Mac, Linux or Steam Deck?

Light Work is listed for Windows only. The Steam page gives no macOS or Linux requirements, so there is no native version for Apple Silicon or Intel Macs.

Valve had not published a Steam Deck compatibility rating as of October 10, 2026. A missing rating means the game has not been reviewed for the Deck yet; it says nothing either way about whether it runs.

Does Light Work support a controller?

Partly. Steam lists Partial Controller Support, the label it uses when a game can be played with a gamepad but some actions or menus may still need a mouse and keyboard. The store page does not list the button layout. The basic rules are in how to play Light Work.

What else does the listing say?

  • Language: English only, for the interface, audio and subtitles. No Chinese or other translations are listed.
  • Players: single-player, with Steam Family Sharing enabled.
  • Price: Free to Play. More background is in the Light Work overview.
